Obituary

RICHARD, Rolly
June 21, 1962 – November 9, 2019
The family is saddened to announce the sudden and unexpected passing of Rolly, age 57. Forever remembered by his wife and best friend of almost 30 years, Sherry-Lynn of Thessalon First Nation. Predeceased by his son Rolly Jr. Cherished father of Jacob, Douglas and Natasha and grandfather to Lincoln and Maylee. He leaves behind his sister Olivia (Rick) and brothers Marc and Lionel. Survived by his in laws Albert and Pat Bisaillon, brother in laws Tim (Tess), Doug (Kathy), Ted and sister in law Bobbi-Jo (Andrew). He begins his journey and joins his parents the late Lionel and the late Olive as well as his brothers the late Normand and the late Rudy. Fondly remembered by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Rolly was known throughout the community as a loving friend. Everyone who knew Rolly knew him to be a humours person who always had a smile on his face. He was caring and always gave a helping hand to those who needed it… no matter how big or trivial. He enjoyed being on the land, hunting, fishing and camping. His favorite place was at his camp on the water, enjoying the sunrise and the smell of the campfire. We know where Rolly is now, he is looking down on his family, friend’s and loved ones.
The family wishes to thank the First Responders for being there as soon as they could. They also want to thank members of the Thessalon First Nation community for their ongoing support.
Family and friends are invited to visit at the Thessalon First Nation Community Centre, 35 Sugarbush Road on Friday, November 15, 2019 at 11am with service beginning at 12pm. Luncheon to follow. Arrangements entrusted to Beggs Funeral Home www.beggsfh.com
